InterMUD-3 for Java

Download i3-1.1.0.zip, which contains i3.jar.

Add i3.jar to your classpath to access the I3 functionality. This is free software, written and copyrighted by David Green <green@couchpotato.net>, licensed to you under the GPL. Complete source code is included in the i3.jar file.

Download I3Test.java. This is a sample program, less than 200 lines long, which shows how to use the basic I3 functionality. This program is very simple, but actually supports all of these features:

• Registers you as a MUD on the I3 network. (Hard-coded MUD name - modify program to change)
• Send and receive channel messages on a single channel (hard-coded - modify program to change channel)
• Receive tells, targetted private emotes, channel emotes, targetted channel emotes.
• View the MUD list.
• View the Channel list.
• Send WHO requests to other MUDs.
• Responds to remote WHO requests (try it from another MUD).
